We recognise how vital it is that we earn the trust and confidence of you, the parent, and that you are happy with what we do and how we do it. That’s why we strive to build a positive relationship with our parents from day one.

 

We aim to share with you aspects of your child’s development and all those special ‘wow’ moments that happen along the way.

We provide resources, information, and communicate in a number of ways to ensure you feel well informed and part of your child’s life here at nursery.

 

In addition, we welcome parents, carers and the extended family to spend time in the nursery being part of the vast array of activities and celebrations that take place.

 

Only by working together can we aim for children who are happy and confident who thrive and have every opportunity to reach their full potential.

Starting Nursery

Admission and settling in procedure.

Applications should be made in the first instance to the manager.

 

A £200 deposit will be asked for and the place is then confirmed.

 

Settling children into the setting can take time and all children are unique and individual.

 

Prior to settling with us we ask that a ‘passport’ on your child is completed. This includes information on your child’s health, dietary requirements, medication, likes/dislikes, routines and feeding. This information forms the basis of your child’s care plan.

 

We feel it is important that this period is handled sensitively according to the needs of individual children and you as parents. By the time your child starts with us you should feel confident that they are secure in the environment and has formed a trusting relationship with us.
